Switzer Auction Services has been conducting equipment auctions since 1986, selling new or used farm and ranch equipment, construction equipment, trailers, and vehicles. We receive farm, ranch and construction equipment daily for our auctions. Select items will be sold in our online auction.
What type of auctions do you have? We have consignment auctions throughout the year at our Sealy auction yard. You can consign tractors, trailers, construction equipment, farm implements, trucks, autos, boats, UTV/ATVs, horse trailers, livestock trailers, livestock equipment, motorcycles, freightliners, backhoes, bull dozers, excavators, loaders, construction equipment attachments, BBQ pits, government surplus equipment and vehicles, fleet of equipment and vehicles, tools, misc and more.
When is the best time to register my consignments? We would like for you to consign as early as possible so we can start marketing your equipment to the vast amount of buyers.
When and where do you accept consignments for your equipment consignment sale?
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
and the weekend prior to the sale (call for hours). Deadline to consign is by the Thursday prior to the sale. Have all consignments in two days prior to the sale by 5:00 PM.

Can I sell my equipment at my location?
Yes, we are available to have an auction at your place. Call Mark for a consultation, 979-885-2400.
What if I need assistance loading and unloading my equipment?
Our staff is ready to help you haul your equipment to the auction, load and unload your equipment at our facility. Please call us at 979-885-2400 for more information and to make an appointment.
What is the procedure to check in my equipment at your Equipment Auction?
When you check in your equipment, provide your name, address, phone and email. We must have signed titles on all vehicles and correct paperwork on trailers before these items are check in. We will discuss description, estimates and reserves. If you wish to put a reserve on an item, a pre-established minimum price, it must be written down on the check-in sheet and signed. A deposit is required for any tires consigned.
Will will take care of the photography and marketing.
What is the commission structure to sell items at Switzer Auction?
Our standard commission rates are as follows:
Over $2,500 8%
These rates are on a per item basis. There is a minimum $5.00 commission per lot. Commission rates are subject to change, please call our office with any questions.
Payment of a sold item –
Checks will be mailed the Friday following the sale or they may be picked up at our office at 1036 S. FM 331, Sealy, Texas. Checks will not be ready before noon, the Friday following the sale. If you are picking up your check at our office, please notify our office so it can be held for you. In order to receive your check, all titles must be in order and all unsold merchandise must be removed from the sale site
